For over 52 years, Tel-Aide Montréal (TAM) has provided essential support to the Greater Montreal population by offering a free listening service. Our lines have answered more than 2 million calls so far.

In November 2023, to meet the growing demand, we launched the TAM-TAM Don donation campaign, an opportunity to make your generosity resonate. Your donations will help amplify our listening mission. In November, join TAM-TAM don to help us offer more listening.

Give via a secure donation form. You can even choose to make recurring monthly donations to support our helpline throughout the year.

Starting on November 1, 2023, you can donate up to $25 by texting the word TAM at 20222. Your donation will automatically appear on your mobile phone bill.

At this one-of-a-kind brunch, dynamic duos from the showbiz and business realms will engage in a friendly challenge to raise as many donations as possible by leveraging their networks. The public is invited to join in by supporting either the showbiz or business community, adding an extra layer of excitement to the event.

We provide our free, confidential, and anonymous  listening service to all, 365 days a year, from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. Last year, our trained volunteers in active listening answered 17,000 calls.

Your contribution will help us raise awareness of our services within the Greater Montreal community, ensuring that no one has to face their distress alone. Furthermore, we will carry out efforts to recruit more volunteers.

TAM has over 160 volunteers trained in active listening, with 24 hours of theoretical training followed by 24 hours of practical training as well as ongoing education. TAM’s volunteers adhere to an ethical code of conduct, ensuring the confidentiality and anonymity of the calls are respected.
