Mission and Vision

Tel-Aide Montréal actively contributes to the improvement of mental well-being by listening.

Our Values

Commitment

Dedication to our community and those we serve.

Mutual Support

We foster a collaborative environment where team spirit thrives.

Loyalty

We are committed to our mission and building lasting relationships based on trust.

Respect & Inclusion

We embrace diversity and welcome all without judgment.

Our Philosophy

We adhere to the principles of humanistic psychology, which holds that the person best qualified to find solutions to their problems is the individual themselves. Our approach is non-directive: active listening volunteers do not take on the role of an intervener or advisor and, most importantly, do not offer solutions. The values we advocate aim to ensure that users of our service can express themselves with complete confidence, regardless of who the listener may be.
